This was truly unexpected as I didn't want to market anything before my website is perfectly stylish and ready.
Well, technically, it is ready. The products are there, the checkout is configured, all the integrations are set up. However, I feel that the customer experience, if it needs to start now, wouldn't be optimal and as smooth as I want it to be.
As someone who works in customer relations for 8+ years, I know as anybody else how important is a intuitive interface, clear website navigation, and defined call to action.
But all these "marketing rules" do not match with my brand identity, with my aesthetics. So I will probably lose in conversion, but I will stay myself.
That's the whole point of your own art business.
So the first Facebook ad is on!
Technically, it's still under review as I posted it seconds ago, but I am already excited about it.
And the most interesting point is that I put on ad a text post with the link to this blog. Because honestly, if I would be a small business owner beginner, I'd be delighted to find some source of information like this.
Think about it: I will do all the needed mistakes so that you don't have to :)

Also, it actually makes more sense to boost a post on Facebook Page rather than a post on an Instagram Business account, simply because for Facebook, there is a clear monetization.
Sorry, birds. Mama has to think about how to keep the business afloat.
If you are managing multiple products with natural limits of time and resource, you have to count all that. Optimization is good friend if performed with measure.
And this was my late night thought of today.
